Purpose

As Domain Architect Finance & Supply Chain, you will own the design and governance of our ERP landscape across Finance and Supply Chain.

You will translate business needs into scalable, compliant solutions, challenge designs where needed, and ensure changes meet both operational and regulatory requirements.

Working across Finance, Supply Chain, QA/RA, IT and external partners, you will help build an ERP environment that is reliable, controlled and ready to scale with v VARDIS.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the ERP requirements.

Turn what Finance and Supply Chain ask for into clear, prioritized requirements with acceptance criteria, and say no when a request would break a control or the design.

  • Act as the design authority. Every change from a partner, developer or internal team passes your review before it goes live.
  • Get Finance, Supply Chain, QA/RA (Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs) and IT to agree on one target design and roadmap.
  • Steer our implementation partners: scope, estimates, change requests and delivery quality. Accept work against criteria, not against effort spent.
  • Own SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) IT general controls in the ERP: change management, segregation of duties in security roles, and key reports finance can rely on.
  • Keep Gx P-relevant (Good Practice regulations) processes validated.

Take a risk-based approach under GAMP 5 (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice) with records that meet EU GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Annex 11 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

  • Make sure Microsoft’s mandatory service updates go through regression testing without weeks of manual revalidation.
  • Required Qualifications & Experience
  • You have led D365 Finance and Supply Chain, or a comparable ERP, as an architect, solution lead or lead consultant, and have defended at least one SOX or Gx P audit.
  • You know Finance and Supply Chain processes well enough to challenge a partner’s design, from purchase to payment and from receiving goods to the close.
  • You can spot a change that runs without errors but posts to the wrong ledger account or bypasses an approval.
  • You write requirements a partner can’t misread, and acceptance criteria they can’t argue with.
  • You can hand an inspector the validation evidence for any change in minutes, because the process produced it, not because someone assembled it for the audit.
  • You use AI tools in your daily work, for example to analyse requirements, review configuration or draft test cases, and know where they need a human check.
  • You can tell a partner their estimate is wrong without starting a war.
  • You work fluently in English.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, processes and deadlines while maintaining alignment with other dependencies on priorities and expected deliverables
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and record-keeping, with ownership of the accuracy and completeness of work
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication, with strong listening skills and the ability to clarify requirements and expectations before proceeding
  • Openness to feedback, with the ability to translate it into practical improvements and adapt working methods when needed
  • A diplomatic and collaborative approach to cross-functional work, with the ability to influence without direct authority and follow up effectively with process owners
  • Proactive and able to work independently, while recognizing when to seek guidance, flag risks, or **escalate** issues
  • Sound judgment and a constructive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to consider different perspectives, raise concerns, and follow through on agreed decisions and actions
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful metrics and actionable insights
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and business or regulatory requirements, while maintaining quality and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Your Personality
  • You like order. A vague requirement or a change without test evidence bothers you until it’s fixed.
  • You own outcomes, not tasks. When a partner delivers the wrong thing, you fix the process that let it happen, not just the ticket.
  • You’re structured without being bureaucratic. A control has to protect something real, or you argue to remove it.
  • You hold your position with a partner, the CFO or QA when the evidence supports you, and you change it when it doesn’t.
  • You learn fast and enjoy it, whether it’s a new regulation, a Microsoft release or a process you’ve never seen.
  • You know your work ends up in a product patients use and in numbers the auditors sign. That’s why you do it right, not why you’re nervous about it.
