Overview
As Technical Manager for New Foundations, you own the target-state architecture for Richemont’s SAP S/4HANA migration and shape the technology evolution to enable a scalable, enterprise-wide ERP transformation.
You translate scope into a coherent blueprint and define ERP boundaries, integrations, and extensibility.
You partner with tech teams and leaders to ground decisions in reality and drive long-term operability.
This role sits at the heart of a multi-year program transforming processes and technology.
- Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own the target-state technology architecture and SAP S/4HANA-centered landscape (ERP core, satellites, integrations, extensions on SAP BTP and third-party platforms)
- Translate scope and simplification decisions into a scalable architecture blueprint aligned with group principles
- Define ERP boundaries to balance simplification with rebuilding, extension or externalisation
- Lead the integration and extensibility strategy (APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns)
- Assess feasibility, dependencies and sequencing, grounding ambitions in technical reality
- Prepare technology principles, architecture guardrails, and inputs for Solution Design
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to upskill on SAP S/4HANA and ensure reality-grounded decisions
- Zentrale Anforderungen
- Senior experience in large-scale ERP and platform transformations (SAP S/4HANA is a must)
- Proven track record in Technical Architecture in complex environments
- Deep experience designing hybrid landscapes (ERP, satellites, data, integrations, cloud platforms)
- Comfortable engaging with senior technology and business leaders, including Ex Co-level forums
- Experience operating in international multi-entity or multi-brand environments
- Strong mastery of SAP S/4HANA architecture patterns, clean-core principles and extensibility models
- Deep understanding of integration architectures, APIs, middleware and SAP BTP
- Ability to translate simplification and legacy constraints into forward-looking architecture choices
- Strong analytical capability to frame technology trade-offs (standard vs flexibility vs cost)
