Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international commodity trading group seeking a Head of AI & Data to build and lead its AI, data and analytics capability. The position is primarily based in Geneva.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Group’s AI and data strategy around the commercial priorities of its physical commodity trading activities.
- Deliver tools that enhance market analysis, pricing, demand forecasting, trade profitability and margin monitoring across trading desks.
- Strengthen the quality and availability of trading, operational and financial data by connecting internal systems with external market information and third‑party platforms.
- Apply AI to commodity trading workflows, including contract review, trade documentation, reporting, logistics processes and internal knowledge management.
- Establish effective controls for sensitive trading data, model validation, cybersecurity and responsible AI use, while supporting adoption across international offices.
Key Requirements
- Degree in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience deploying secure and scalable AI or data solutions within a commercially focused environment.
- Strong expertise across machine learning, generative AI, data architecture, cloud platforms, analytics and automation.
- Understanding of physical commodity flows, trading margins, market exposure and operational constraints; experience in commodities, energy, logistics, supply chains, trade finance or financial markets is strongly preferred.
- Geneva‑based role requiring Swiss residency or existing eligibility to work in Switzerland.
