About the Role
OneAPPS is seeking an experienced Investment Data Management Specialist with strong Asset Management domain expertise to support end-to-end (E2E) Portfolio Management and investment data transformation initiatives for its Investment Banking client project.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing investment data across Front Office, Middle Office and downstream systems, ensuring data accuracy, quality, consistency, governance and traceability throughout the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage E2E investment data flows across portfolio management platforms and downstream systems.
- Define and analyse investment datasets, including securities, positions, holdings, transactions, pricing, valuations, benchmarks and market data .
- Perform data analysis, mapping, lineage, validation and reconciliation across investment systems.
- Identify and resolve data-quality issues, inconsistencies and integration gaps.
- Establish data governance, quality controls, business rules and exception‑management processes.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Investment Operations, Risk, Performance, Reporting and Technology teams.
- Support data migration, platform modernisation and investment data transformation programmes.
- Ensure accurate data consumption for portfolio construction, investment accounting, performance, risk, compliance and reporting.
- Support SQL‑based data analysis, testing, root‑cause investigation and process automation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years' experience in Investment Data Management, Asset Management, Investment Operations or Business/Data Analysis.
- Strong understanding of E2E Portfolio Management and the investment lifecycle .
- Expertise in security master data, portfolio holdings, positions, transactions, pricing, valuations and benchmarks.
- Strong SQL, data mapping, data lineage, data quality and reconciliation skills.
- Knowledge of Front Office and Middle Office investment processes, including investment accounting, performance and risk.
- Experience with data governance, metadata, data models, APIs and system integrations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension, BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI or similar investment platforms.
- Exposure to Azure, Databricks, Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms.
- Experience delivering investment data migrations and transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
