Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to take ownership of operational excellence across Microsoft 365 and cloud-based workplace services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic environment where you'll play a key role in maintaining service quality, driving continuous improvement, and supporting cloud transformation initiatives.
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace, and related cloud services, ensuring stability, performance, and service continuity.
- Coordinate and drive incident, problem, change, and request management activities, validating technical changes and contributing to ongoing service improvements.
- Act as the primary operational liaison with external suppliers and technology partners, managing escalations, service reviews, and SLA governance.
- Support medium-sized IT projects throughout the design, validation, and transition-to-production phases.
Requirements:
- At least 5-6 years of hands-on experience managing and operating Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Cloud environments within enterprise Windows infrastructures.
- Strong knowledge of Modern Workplace technologies and cloud-based services
- Practical experience working within ITIL-based service management environments
- Fluent in Italian and English
