The Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to shape and mature portfolio and programme management within a growing global function, bringing strategic focus, structure and transparency to a diverse landscape of data, digital and AI initiatives.
- Strategic Portfolio Management
- Establish and manage an integrated GDDS portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic ambitions and business priorities across Sites & Sustainability.
- Develop and implement portfolio prioritisation frameworks based on strategic relevance, business value, resource capacity, dependencies and implementation readiness.
- Shape and maintain an integrated portfolio roadmap, identifying opportunities for synergies, standardisation and scalability across global functions and sites.
- Provide leadership with a consolidated view of portfolio priorities, investments, delivery progress, risks and strategic trade-offs.
- Programme Orchestration & Strategic Execution
- Orchestrate strategic, cross-functional programmes spanning data management, digital solutions, AI adoption and operational transformation.
- Translate strategic priorities into coordinated programme roadmaps, milestones, governance structures and measurable outcomes.
- Manage cross-programme dependencies, critical risks and escalations to maintain alignment and execution momentum.
- Partner with solution business owners, digital solution owners and RDT to coordinate execution while maintaining clear accountability for individual solution delivery.
- Portfolio Governance & Value Realisation
- Establish and continuously improve portfolio and programme governance, including decision forums (Governance Council), prioritisation processes, reporting standards and escalation mechanisms.
- Define portfolio performance indicators and value realisation measures to assess strategic progress, delivery effectiveness and business impact.
- Develop transparent, decision-oriented reporting that supports leadership in making informed investment and resource allocation decisions.
- Monitor portfolio health, identify emerging risks and recommend corrective actions or strategic adjustments when required.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Transformation
- Build strong partnerships across global business functions, sites and RDT to align priorities and foster effective collaboration.
- Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and resolve competing priorities in a complex, fragmented environment.
- Support organisational readiness and adoption by ensuring that programme objectives, business ownership and expected outcomes are clearly defined.
- Promote consistent portfolio and programme management practices while balancing global standards with local business needs.
Who You Are
You are a strategic, structured and collaborative professional who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, technology and transformation.
You bring clarity to complexity, influence across organisational boundaries and maintain a strong focus on business outcomes.
- University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in strategic portfolio management, programme management or business transformation within a global, matrixed organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to establish portfolio governance, prioritisation frameworks, integrated roadmaps and performance management practices.
- Proven experience orchestrating complex, cross-functional transformation programmes involving multiple business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data management, digital platforms, analytics and AI, with the ability to translate technological opportunities into business value.
- Experience working with business functions and IT delivery organisations in agile, traditional or hybrid delivery environments.
- Familiarity with established portfolio and programme management methodologies such as PMI, or SAFe is an advantage.
- Your Skills & Mindset
- Strategic thinker: Connects organisational ambitions with portfolio priorities and actionable execution plans.
- Outcome-oriented: Focuses on measurable business value rather than solely on project milestones and deliverables.
- Influential collaborator: Builds alignment and drives decisions through strong relationships and credibility, without relying on formal authority.
- Structured and analytical: Brings transparency to complex portfolios and translates information into actionable leadership insights.
- Pragmatic and adaptable: Balances global governance with the flexibility required in a decentralised organisation.
- Confident communicator: Engages effectively with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders, facilitating clear decisions and constructive dialogue.
