Overview
In this role you contribute to modeling and simulation activities across oncology and antibiotics projects, applying PK/PD and related methods to advance Debiopharm’s medicines.
You work within Translational Medicine to support non-clinical to clinical development and communicate PMx results to cross-functional teams.
You will develop and promote innovative PMx methodologies and help shape model-informed drug development strategies.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative position with opportunities to engage in external scientific communications and regulatory interactions.

- Conduct hands-on or oversight PMx activities across development stages for oncology programs
- Perform PK/PD, ER, disease progression modeling and trial simulations in compliance with regulatory guidelines and SOPs
- Develop and implement innovative PMx methodologies
- Support model-informed drug development from early to late development
- Communicate PMx results in cross-functional settings
- Prepare PMx documentation for regulatory or cross-functional interactions; participate in health authority discussions
- Contribute to external scientific communications (publications, posters, presentations) and stay updated on industry trends
- Support in/out licensing activities as part of Debiopharm’s model
- Zentrale Anforderungen
- Ph D or equivalent in Pharmacometrics, mathematics, statistics, or related discipline with expertise in population PK/PKPD modeling, exposure–response, disease progression models, clinical trial simulation
- 3–5 years of PMx experience in industry or academia; oncology experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Monolix and NONMEM; strong programming in R and Python
- Knowledge of PBPK tools (Sim CYP, PK-Sim, Gastro-Plus) is an asset
- Solid understanding of pharmacology and PK concepts; preclinical and clinical development knowledge
- Knowledge of GCP, GCLP and regulatory guidelines; ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
