An international company is seeking a Global Director of IT to report to its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The director will translate the technology strategy into roadmaps and delivery, lead the global IT organization, and support the CTO with recommendations on priorities and emerging opportunities. This senior leadership role calls for an enterprise-minded executive who can lead a large, experienced global team and make the company technologically ready for its next stage of growth.WHAT YOU WILL DOTranslate the strategy set by the CTO and the Board into global IT roadmaps, priorities and execution plans.Lead, develop and engage a large team of experienced technology professionals across the organization.Guide enterprise software, platforms and technology development, balancing architecture, delivery and business needs.Lead delivery of software, AI and digital initiatives within the strategy and priorities agreed with the CTO.Build a culture of continuous improvement and responsible adoption of new technologies.Partner with executive leaders and business functions; provide the CTO with clear updates on delivery, risks, options and results.Bring flexibility and sound judgement as priorities and technologies evolve.WHAT YOU BRINGAt least 15 years of relevant experience in IT, software and technology leadership.Experience translating enterprise technology strategy into large-scale IT delivery and execution.A strong record of leading a large team of experienced professionals.Experience working in established corporate environments.Practical software-development experience and the ability to engage credibly with technical teams. ??Experience developing and delivering AI projects.A forward-looking mindset, openness to innovation, and strong leadership and communication skills.Fluency in Turkish and English.LOCATION AND ELIGIBILITYThe role is based in Switzerland and requires relocation.
