JOB PURPOSE

The Events, Brand Activation & PR Specialist joins our Marketing Department at the Stabio (Ticino) headquarter.

Reporting to the Global Sports & Events Manager (the Manager) and working closely with the cross-functional teams (Content & Campaigns, Social Media, Trade Marketing & Sales), the Specialist coordinates and executes the 360 calendar of Brand events, following the direction and priorities set by the Manager.

The calendar covers main Equity events (such as special launch activations or the ambassadors summit), cycling fairs (indoor and outdoor) and community initiatives (mainly, but not limited to, social rides).

The Specialist supports the Manager in preparing the events calendar and budget recommendations, plans the on-the-ground execution and tracks the KPIs.

This role contributes directly to ASSOS community building, a key pillar of the 2027 brand strategy and a main driver of Equity appeal and visibility across target groups.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager owns the events grid, the budget and the Collective 13 concept.

The Specialist supports their definition and is responsible for planning, coordination and execution within them.

The role covers three areas.

  • Commercial events: cycling fairs
  • Work closely with the ISE and Sales teams so that fairs are executed in synergy with the commercial scope while staying aligned with the brand image.
  • Support the Manager in preparing the events grid proposal with Sales, gathering the inputs needed (dates, locations, costs, past results).
  • Maintain the overall fair calendar and coordinate the pre-validation of fair projects with the teams involved.
  • Coordinate on-the-ground execution (logistics, suppliers, materials, schedule) and support brand activation where relevant.
  • Proactively flag risks and propose solutions to the Manager.
  • Social rides programme: Collective 13
  • Coordinate the day-to-day running of Collective 13, working closely with the Manager on the concept, priorities and budget they set.
  • Prepare the project architecture for the Manager's approval: clusters of rides, goodies needs and timeline.
  • Coordinate with the Branding & Style team on the special jersey scope and potential goodies design, following the Manager's brief.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team to align the ride calendar, geographic priorities and commercial package follow-up.
  • Coordinate the content side of the social rides, with the Manager's support, working with the Content & Campaigns and Social Media teams.
  • Keep regular contact with the SBOs and be present on the ground to make sure the ride calendar is implemented and executed.
  • Track KPIs and costs and report them to the Manager.
  • PR core activities
  • Support the planning of PR campaigns: press communication for key launches, including gathering copy and creative assets, ordering products and organising shipments.
  • Coordinate the logistics of key PR events (media camps, races, drop launches).
  • Once the calendar and concepts are agreed with the Marketing team and approved by the Manager, build a project plan for each event with key actions, owners, timings and next steps.
  • Coordinate key stakeholders (Creative team, Product team, Warehouse) so that execution is timely and within budget.
  • Liaise with the PR community (PR agencies, journalists, media partners) under the Manager's guidance and build a strong knowledge of ASSOS products to showcase them effectively.
  • Across all areas
  • Track spending and time precisely, within the budget set by the Manager, and flag deviations early.
  • Take part in periodic alignments with the cross-functional Marketing team and prepare recap presentations or files to support regular updates to Management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years of experience in event and community management.
  • Good knowledge of cycling culture and events, combined with strong professionalism and a mature approach
  • Proactive and smart mindset
  • Solution-oriented mindset,
  • Works well as part of a team and independently
